SAAD courses for dental & medical professionals and dental nurses - blended.

The two day SAAD National Course is suitable as a refresher course for experienced sedationists/sedation nurses or as the knowledge & skills training for new starters. The course provides 12 hours of sedation CPD.

This course consists of one day of theoretical elements online via zoom on 18 May and one day face to face practical elements on 15 June. The recording of the Theoretical Elements will be avaiable until 14 June.

The SAAD Schemes comprise of the two day national course and the supervised clinical experience to become either a SAAD Assessed Sedationist or a SAAD Assessed Sedation Nurse.

 Dental & medical practitioners - National Course

 Dental nurses - National Course  
Suitable as a refresher for experienced sedation nurses, or as the knowledge and skills training for new starters.

 Dental & medical practitioner - SAAD Assessed Sedationist scheme - (SAS Scheme)
Suitable for new starters, completion will allow dental & medical practitioners to provide sedation independently in accordance with the IACSD standards. 

 Dental nurse - SAAD Assesed Sedation Nurse scheme - (SASN Scheme)
Suitable for new starters, completion will allow dental nurses to assist in the provision of dental sedation in accordance with the IACSD standards.
